The Future of Composites in Construction 2017

Composites use in building and construction will be highlighted at the event. JEC Group has decided to focus on end-user events and is launching the Future of Composites in Construction, a brand new show dedicated to one of the most promising composites market segments. Composites use in building and construction will be highlighted.

The event will offer three full days of business and networking in Chicago, focused in a strategic end-user field and gathering leaders and decision makers from construction (buildings and civil engineering).

“The numerous and diverse benefits that these innovative materials bring to the building industry will help overcome the coming challenges such as, urbanization, increase of natural disasters (floods, storms, tsunamis, earthquakes…), along with the decrease of non-renewable raw materials and the high standard levels set by the society in terms of lightness and fluidiy,” organisers report. “Composites materials bring answers and opportunities to tackle those issues in sustainable, durable and reliable manners.”

Following its strategy to address every composites end-user, the JEC Innovation Awards will reward these six composites Innovators in building and construction that will change the way we build. Therefore, to promote the growing use of composites as a construction material, six categories are awarded, covering a large panel of applications and possibilities. The JEC Innovation Awards Chicago 2017 ceremony will take place at McCormick Place on 20 June 2017 at 6pm.
