Greene, Tweed, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance elastomers, thermoplastics, composites, and engineered components, has announced the appointment of William ‘Bill’ Rottschaefer as Director of Business Development. A seasoned professional in the industry, Rottschaefer is well positioned to accelerate Greene, Tweed’s growth through the execution of strategic initiatives, the company says.

Rottschaefer comes to Greene, Tweed after serving as Director of Strategic Planning and Development for Trinseo, where he created and implemented the company’s corporate development function and oversaw Trinseo’s deal pipeline.

Prior to joining Trinseo, Rottschaefer held a similar role at TE Connectivity (formerly Tyco Electronics), along with a myriad of investment banking roles focused on mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.

Rottschaefer received a master’s degree in business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from the Pennsylvania State University.

“With his expertise in surveying the commercial landscape to identify optimal opportunities for growth, building acquisition pipelines, as well as identifying, evaluating, and executing merger and acquisition transactions at several companies, Bill is a great addition to Greene, Tweed,” says Vice President of Business Development Allon Bloch. “He will partner with our business leaders to build out our growth pipeline and assist Greene, Tweed in realizing our strategic growth goals.”
