The 2018 edition will expand the programme over two days, spotlighting the current and future use of composite materials in sport.

Sporting success is often the result of marginal advantages, whether that is in terms of the individual competitor, their training regime, or the equipment they employ. In pursuit of these marginal advantages, composites are now the material of choice for many sporting goods where their benefits in terms of high stiffness, low weight, protection and customisation are enjoyed by elite athletes and enthusiastic amateurs alike.
