c-m-p doubles production capacity

c-m-p, with its headquarters in Heinsberg-Oberbruch, looks back on a highly successful year, having reported a growth rate of 20% and a turnover of EUR 11 million in 2017. The technology leader in prepreg manufacture is now doubling its production capacity by a further extension.

With this step, c-m-p aims to demonstrate its consistent strong focus on customer needs, ensuring shorter delivery times with the expansion of the production facilities.

A high-tech impregnation facility with a usable working width of two metres is one of the highlights of the expansion, supplementing the highly modern machinery used by the technology company.

“Hereby c-m-p again sets new standards in the manufacture of ultra-light and stable-form materials and extends its lead on new applications for prepregs,” the company’s management explained. “Particularly customers with extremely low error tolerances and high demands on the mechanical properties of prepreg products appreciate the larger working width.”

The new impregnation facility will go in operation at the end of 2018.

The company is also exhibiting at this week’s JEC World in Paris, the leading international composite show presenting the latest products and technologies.
