Last year was another outstanding year for c-m-p, a leading manufacturer of customised prepreg and textiles made of carbon and other high-performance fibres. With its headquarters in Heinsberg-Oberbruch, the technology company expanded its facilities, doubling its production capacity. The company’s turnover climbed to EUR 13.7 million.

The company has been recording a continuous growth for the past two years, significantly increasing its office space, bolstering its sales team, adding production capacity and working on the new products. In 2017, the company introduced its new CP201 tooling prepreg system used for mould-making, which enables curing at low temperatures and is temperature-resistant up to 190°C. The system has demonstrated a high level of performance and process stability in a test phase at various customers since its launch.

The number of employees was also increased by one fifth last year. “This means that the growing customer base of the innovative company can continue to rely on short delivery times, maximum flexibility and quality in the future,” the management reports.

The company also commissioned the second high-tech impregnation plant with a working width of 2 metres. “All tests of our new high-tech impregnation plant with a usable working width of two metres have been completed and the plant has gone into operation,” said the management.

“We always have the future in mind: For our rapid growth, the company's own site in Heinsberg-Oberbruch offers sufficient expansion possibilities. Since its foundation in 2011, c-m-p has been setting new standards in the production of ultra-light and dimensionally stable materials and extending its lead in newer areas of application for prepregs.”

For the sixth time, c-m-p will be present at JEC World 2019 in Paris, which takes place from 12-14 March. The company will be presenting its latest innovations at the joint stand of Carbon Composites e. V. “Our trade fair team is looking forward to your questions and concerns,” the company concludes.
