4th ICC calls for presentations

The trade association Composites Germany invites those interested to submit their presentations for the 4th International Composites Congress (ICC), which will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 5-6 November 2018.

“This Composites Germany Congress is a unique event and all areas of the composites industry will receive equal attention,” organisers report. “We invite submissions for presentations on the following themes under the guiding title Composites - On the Path to Becoming a Key Industry?

  • Multimaterial-solutions
  • Market developments
  • SMC / BMC
  • Pultrusion

  • Standardisation
  • Hybrid Thermoplastic Moulding
  • Cooperations (industry-research, industry-industry)

“Our partner country this year is Austria. We will finalise the congress with a panel discussion about Composites in the growth market building and infrastructure,” said the association.

Composites Germany is inviting applicants to take advantage of this opportunity to present their latest innovations to an auditorium of international experts by submitting their presentations to the Composites Germany office by no later than 9 March 2018.

Through the trade association Composites Germany, the four major organisations in the fibre composites sector aim to strengthen the German composites industry, particularly in the field of research, determine common positions and take account of overlapping interests.

AVK - Federation of Reinforced Plastics e.V. (AVK), Carbon Composites e.V. (CCeV), CFK Valley e.V. and VDMA use Composites Germany as a forum to combine their abilities and promote the future-oriented themes of high performance composites and automated production technology which are particularly relevant in Germany.
