The Annual International SICOMP Conference on Manufacturing and Design of Composites will take place from 3-4 June 2019 in Trollhättan, Sweden. “We are pleased to invite you to the 30th SICOMP Conference, which in 2019 also celebrates three decades of this annual composites event,” organisers report. “Thanks to our close co-operation with GKN Aerospace Sweden, the conference will be held in Trollhättan. The conference venue is NOVA, located in the same area as Innovatum Science Centre and close to hotel facilities.”
“For 30 years the SICOMP Conference has been a global forum with participants mainly from the Nordic and European composites industry, material suppliers, academia and research organisations. This calls for celebration.”
“Now, as part of RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, we see new and broader opportunities for composites research and development, something that will be evident at the conference.”
The conference offers two days of interesting lectures, conference dinner, poster session, and a meeting place for the composites industry and academia. The conference topics will include a general session on the main theme Manufacturing and Design of Composites, composites in automotive and aeronautics, digitalisation, automated processes, and hybrid structures.
