Composites UK to be Headline Partner of Composites Engineering 2017

Composites Engineering highlights the latest in composite materials, the equipment that is used to produce the composites and the research and development and innovation that takes place at every level of the industry.Composites UK is again teaming up with Easyfairs, the organiser of the Composites Engineering Show, to become the Headline Industry Partner for the show in 2017. The exhibition, which takes place on 1-2 November 2017 at Birmingham NEC, is now in its eighth year and forms part of the Advanced Engineering Show.

“It is important to us as the trade association for the UK composites industry that we align with this show, not only to support our members but also to promote the UK industry as a whole. Over a third of our members’ exhibit here and as the event has an international audience UK companies can have a wide reach without being too far from their base,” commented Claire Whysall, Communications Manager at Composites UK.

Jeremy Whittingham, ‎Head of Marketing at Easyfairs, said: “As organisers of Advanced Engineering and the Composites Engineering Show, we are delighted to continue the show’s relationship with Composites UK. Composites UK have been a key supporter of the Composites Engineering show since its launch in 2010, consistently providing valuable presentation content and industry engagement.”

“This partnership has in turn given back to the industry a major networking, educational, and business development forum for the UK composite industry. We look forward to continuing our work to help grow the UK composites industry even further into a leading global player.”

Further Composites UK activities at the show include several free-to-attend forum sessions on the show floor linking to the UK Composites Strategy and the Industry Awards Dinner held on 1 November just a stone’s throw from the NEC at the National Conference Centre.
